Happy Holiday Monday!

The sunflowers have just only begun to bloom (5 flowers so far!) so wait a week or so if you're looking to see them all in bloom!  Here is a picture I took yesterday! Close up with happy bees!

Our family fun corn maze has officially opened for the season too!  It covers approximately 7 acres behind the store and will take you about 30 minutes to complete.  Look for the clue boxes hidden in the maze!  Lots of fun for the whole family!

Wow!  What a weekend!

Thanks to everyone who ventured out into the "Creepy Corn Maze" this past weekend!  It was our first year doing it and from the screams and comments from the people who survived, I think it was a fun success!

Here's a shot of one of our 'creepers' - she was AWESOME!!!  Look at those eyes! 

So we've called it a season for this year!  We will definitely have another corn maze next year along with delicious Kawartha Dairy ice cream and lots more treats!

Happy Long August weekend everyone!

If you're coming to Prince Edward County for a little summer vacation, you MUST stop by our store and take an adventure through our family fun corn maze!  It's the first year that we've done a maze and we've made it in the shape of a giant sunflower!  It covers approximately 7.5 acres and the corn is now 8-9' tall!

When was the last time you walked through a corn field?  Never?  It's time!  And while you're in there, find the 10 clue boxes, solve the puzzle and score 1 free small ice cream cone for your group!

Admission prices are:

• Adults $5.50
• Youth (age 4-15) $4.50
• Under 4  FREE

All prices include tax.  We accept cash, VISA or Mastercard.  The maze is open 7 days a week from 12-7pm.   Closed on rainy days because of the mud.

Wednesday was "test kitchen" day at Sunflower Fields!  We played with a few recipes so we can offer you great tasting yogurt smoothies this summer!

Have a sunflower kind of day!

Well it arrived!!! The newest flavour by Kawartha Dairy!

It's called Salty Caramel Truffle!  And it is delicious!  It's a caramel ice cream with gooey caramel swirling throughout and mini dark chocolate truffles that leave a hint of sea salt as they melt on your tongue!  I think it could be a best seller this summer!

New this year!  A family fun CORN MAZE!!!  The corn has been planted and as it starts to come up, we'll be able to carve out the maze for you!  We're not exactly sure when it will be ready for customers - that will depend on the heat that we get and how fast the corn grows!  I"m prediciting that it will be ready to roll out for the middle of July. 

Until then, come on out and enjoy your favorite Kawartha Dairy flavour!  We're open Fridays 4:00-7:00pm, Saturday & Sunday 1:00-7:00pm.  Full time hours will start on Wednesday, June 25th.
